What does roof tile delivery and loading cost in Florida?
MMJ prices each job from the pickup plant, route, tile weight (about 880 to 1,030 lb per square), site access and loading scope. Most jobs land inside a week.

The short answer
MMJ does not publish a flat rate. Each quote is built from six inputs: the pickup plant, the route to the jobsite, the tile quantity and weight, the loading scope, site access and the requested date. Send those with the request and MMJ confirms the delivery window the same business day.
What goes into a roof tile delivery and loading quote?
The price depends on where the tile is released, where the roof is and what has to happen once the truck arrives. MMJ builds each quote from the six inputs below and confirms them before dispatch.
| Quote input | Why it moves the price | What to send |
|---|---|---|
| Pickup plant or yard | The plant or supplier yard is where the truck's day starts. MMJ's published pickups came from Westlake Royal in Lake Wales, Okeechobee and Pompano Beach. | Released order, pickup point and order reference |
| Route to the jobsite | MMJ runs from the Treasure Coast. West Palm Beach is about an hour down I-95 and Miami about two and a half hours, so farther jobs ride scheduled route days south. | Exact address, or city and ZIP for an early quote |
| Tile quantity and weight | Concrete tile installs at about 880 to 1,030 lb per square on the profiles MMJ has hauled, so 30 squares is roughly 26,400 to 30,900 lb to move and lift. | Profile, color, squares or pallet count, field and trim pieces |
| Loading scope | Delivery only ends at the jobsite handoff. Rooftop loading adds the telehandler, the ground crew and the placement plan, and a steep pitch, many roof planes or a section the boom cannot reach add work. | Delivery only, loading only or both; roof elevations and placement zones |
| Site access | Gates, paver driveways, swales, culverts, soft shoulders and overhead lines decide where the truck and telehandler can set up. A crane-assisted job needs the crane's availability, responsibilities and timing agreed first. | Current photos of the entrance, driveway edges, overhead lines and setup ground |
| Requested date | A released order with complete details can often go the next day, subject to route and equipment availability. Most jobs land inside a week. | Requested date, roof-ready time and the on-site contact |
The tile weight figures come from the concrete roof tile weight per square table, which lists each profile MMJ has hauled.
How far does the truck travel from the Treasure Coast?
MMJ is based on the Treasure Coast and runs scheduled routes south on I-95 every week. These are the drive times MMJ's own city pages publish; traffic moves them, and the plant pickup is added to the front of the run.
| Jobsite city | Approximate drive | Usual road |
|---|---|---|
| West Palm Beach | About 1 hour | I-95 |
| Boca Raton | About 90 minutes | I-95 or Florida's Turnpike |
| Pompano Beach | About 90 minutes | I-95 |
| Fort Lauderdale | 90 minutes to 2 hours | I-95 |
| Hialeah | 2 to 2.5 hours | I-95 or the Turnpike, then SR 826 or Okeechobee Road |
| Miami | About 2.5 hours | I-95 or the Turnpike |
North and west of the base, jobs in Indian River County, Brevard County and Osceola County are quoted from the exact address on each county's route page.

What is included in an MMJ delivery?
MMJ's scope is plant pickup, transport and rooftop placement. Driveway protection is part of every delivery, and five of the six published projects record plywood along the equipment approach. MMJ does not sell tile and does not install it.
| Party | Covers |
|---|---|
| MMJ | Plant or yard pickup, transport, jobsite delivery, driveway protection and rooftop loading into the contractor's placement zones |
| Supplier | The tile order, the product and the material release |
| Roofing contractor | Roof preparation, installation and the project schedule |
What did the six published MMJ jobs involve?
Each of these jobs combined plant pickup, jobsite delivery and rooftop loading. They show how the quote inputs change from one property to the next.
| Route | Tile | What the site needed |
|---|---|---|
| Lake Wales to Boca Raton | Barcelona 900, Chestnut Burnt | Plywood-covered approach; field and trim bundles across several roof planes |
| Okeechobee to West Palm Beach | Villa 900 | Telehandler on the main roof; a disconnected rear roof hand-carried |
| Okeechobee to Jupiter | Saxony 900 Split Slate, Coconut and White Antique | Plywood over the driveway; tile staged across a multi-plane roof |
| Pompano Beach to Jupiter | Saxony 900, Slate Black Antique | Field, trim and ridge pieces placed around valleys and vents |
| Okeechobee to North Palm Beach | Madera 900, Autumnwood | Steep, multi-plane roof; lift timing coordinated with the rooftop crew |
| Okeechobee to Delray Beach | Estate | Plywood-covered driveway; bundles staged across multiple roof planes |
What should a complete quote request include?
A request with these details can be reviewed and scheduled without a second round of questions.
- The service: delivery only, rooftop loading only, or both.
- The released order and the pickup plant or supplier yard.
- The tile profile, color and quantity, in squares or pallets.
- The exact jobsite address and the on-site contact.
- The requested date and the time the roof will be ready.
- Photos of the entrance or gate, driveway edges, overhead lines and setup ground.
- Roof elevations and the zones where the crew wants tile placed.
- Any gate authorization, permitted work hours or crane plan.
The request form takes a city and ZIP for an early quote, and the exact address can be added later.
More questions crews ask
Can I get a price before the tile order is released?
Yes. The request form accepts a city and ZIP for an early quote, and the exact address can be added later. The released order, exact address and access photos are needed before MMJ confirms the schedule.
Is loading-only priced separately from delivery?
A request can cover delivery only, loading only or both, and the confirmed quote states where MMJ's responsibility ends. Loading-only jobs are reviewed when the incoming delivery time, material position, equipment access and roof readiness are coordinated.
Does a gated community or paver driveway change the quote?
It changes the plan. MMJ regularly works in gated communities and at properties with paver driveways, and lays plywood along the approved equipment path when the site calls for it. Gate authorization, permitted work hours and the protection plan are confirmed before the job is scheduled.
Does MMJ sell or install the tile?
No. MMJ transports and loads concrete and clay roof tile. The supplier handles the order and the release, and the roofing contractor prepares the roof and installs the tile.
Does MMJ quote jobs outside South Florida?
Yes. MMJ reviews requests throughout Florida, with dedicated route pages for Indian River, Brevard, Osceola, Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties, and also serves Martin County.
