Questions answered

What does roof tile delivery and loading cost in Florida?

MMJ does not publish a flat rate. Each quote is built from six inputs: the pickup plant, the route to the jobsite, the tile quantity and weight, the loading scope, site access and the requested date. Send those with the request and MMJ confirms the delivery window the same business day.

What machine loads roof tile onto a roof?

On MMJ jobs the machine is a telehandler: a lift with a telescoping boom that raises tile from the truck or ground staging to the roof deck, where the crew spreads it. All six projects MMJ has published used one. Crane-assisted handling is reviewed when a property needs it, and sections the boom cannot reach are hand-carried.

How far ahead should you book roof tile delivery?

Book as soon as the supplier releases the tile order. When the release, pickup point, exact address and access photos are complete, MMJ is often able to deliver the next day, subject to route and equipment availability. Most jobs land inside a week, and MMJ confirms the window the same business day you ask.

Where are the roof tile plants in Florida?

Florida concrete roof tile is made at Westlake Royal's plants in Lake Wales and Okeechobee, Eagle Roofing Products' plant in Sumterville and Crown's plant in Arcadia. MMJ's published pickups came from Westlake Royal in Lake Wales, Okeechobee and Pompano Beach. Every pickup starts with a released order from the supplier.

How much does concrete roof tile weigh per square?

A square of installed concrete roof tile (100 square feet) weighs about 880 to 1,030 pounds across the five Westlake profiles in MMJ's published projects, from the July 2026 QAI listing. Eagle Roofing lists 970 pounds for its standard-weight profiles at 88.5 tiles per square, and 720 for its Eaglelite tile.
